The demolition stage involves removing any existing hard surfaces, utilizing equipment like Bobcat machines, various demolition tools, and saw-cutting as needed, especially in areas close to the home's foundation. This careful preparation is key to a successful paver installation.

Place the
Foundation

The foundation process for paver installation at Driveway & Paver Solutions involves several key steps. First, excavation and grading are carried out to ensure proper water flow away from the home. The sub-base is then compacted using a plate compactor to eliminate air gaps. For vehicular areas, six inches of Class II Road Base is used, while pedestrian areas receive four inches. This base is then compacted to achieve 95% compaction level. Lastly, one inch of bedding sand is prepared over the base, setting the stage for the pavers.

After the concrete dries, any excess material is removed for a clean, professional look.

After the pavers are laid, they are compacted into the bedding sand with a plate compactor. Then, sand is added to interlock the stones, filling all joints completely. The final step involves cleaning the pavers, removing excess sand and debris, and optionally applying a sealant. This sealant helps lock the joints and prevents weed growth between the pavers, ensuring a clean and durable finish.
