Driveway & Paver Solutions – Premier Paver Installation Experts in South Florida
Interlocking Paver Durable and tightly fitting, our interlocking concrete pavers require no mortar. They’re ideal for driveways, patios, walkways, or pool decks, instantly boosting curb appeal and property value. Available in various colors and styles, these are the popular 60mm thick, unsealed residential-grade paving stones.
Class II Road Base & Bedding Sand Our Class II Road Base, comprising crushed rock from 3/4″ down to fine dust, provides a solid foundation. A 1-inch layer of sharp-angled bedding sand, distinct from regular beach sand, is then screeded atop this base, ensuring a secure and precise paver setup.
Concrete Following border cuts, we trench and pour concrete against soft-scape surfaces to form a solid bond beam. This secures the pavers’ perimeter, guaranteeing durability and stability for your paved areas.
Joint Sand To perfectly interlock the pavers, we compact them into the bedding sand, raising it 1/4 inch on the stone. Joint sand is then meticulously compacted into the paver joints, ensuring a cohesive and durable surface.
Dump Fees: For the removal of dirt and concrete, we manage truck loads as part of our process. Typically, every 500 square feet of the project may necessitate approximately two truckloads of concrete and one truckload of dirt.
Delivery Fees: The cost of delivering materials to the job site can vary based on distance and the choice of manufacturer. Our standard delivery trucks are capable of transporting up to 1,400 square feet of pavers.
Fueling Fees: Beyond delivery and dump fees, we account for the fueling cost of trucks, which varies depending on the distance covered.
Pallet Fees: Manufacturers of pavers may charge additional fees for the pallets used in transporting these materials, and this cost is factored into our operational expenses.
Clean Up Fees: We typically apply a flat rate for the removal of leftover materials, such as pallets and excess pavers. Clean-up also encompasses the restoration of any landscaping areas disturbed during installation. These fees can vary based on the paver manufacturers and the distances covered by our trucks.
Permit Fees: It’s important to check with your local municipality regarding the need for a permit for the installation work. This may require filing certain paperwork and a complete site inspection.
Opting for the most cost-effective labor options might be tempting, but this is an aspect of your project where quality should not be compromised. A skilled crew of about five qualified professionals is typically needed to complete this project within five days. Caution is advised if a smaller crew or a significantly longer timeline is proposed, as these could impact the quality and efficiency of the work. If faced with such scenarios, it might be prudent to seek alternative labor sources to ensure the standards and timelines of your project are met.
Paving projects carry various overhead expenses. These include essential administrative costs like standard worker fees, which encompass General Liability and Workers’ Compensation Insurance to safeguard against any injuries occurring on your property. Additionally, overhead costs cover accounting fees for payroll management, licensing and certification fees for ensuring our crews are fully bonded, along with other associated fees integral to maintaining high-quality service standards.
Incorporating specialized professionals such as a sales/design consultant, project manager, or landscape architect into your paving project can result in extra costs but offers significant benefits.
A sales/design consultant brings expertise to ensure your project seamlessly integrates with your space. Their experience and creative insight can greatly enhance both the functionality and appeal of your project.
For projects needing a harmonious blend of hardscape and greenery, a landscape architect is essential. They design aesthetically pleasing elements that perfectly complement your paver installation.
Project managers are crucial in maintaining budget control. They act as your advocate, especially when there’s a risk of budget overruns. Investing in a project manager can lead to substantial savings, ensuring your project stays within financial bounds while achieving desired outcomes.
