Is Olde Towne better than 4x8 brick?

It depends on the look. 4x8 brick is simpler and often more economical; Olde Towne gives a more decorative multi-size pattern.

Yes. It is commonly used for patios, walkways and pool deck areas when the design calls for a traditional paver pattern.
